STARDEW VALLEY FANART

My fanart style for the Stardew Valley characters Leah and Emily blends realistic facial features with stylized elements, creating a harmonious balance between realism and cartoonish appeal. I use smooth gradients and detailed shading to give depth and volume to the characters’ faces, with expressive eyes and carefully applied makeup to highlight their unique personalities. Leah’s portrait features a soft, earthy color palette and meticulously detailed braided hair, reflecting her connection to nature, while Emily’s vibrant, cool color scheme and dynamic pose capture her quirky and lively spirit. Simple backgrounds enhance the focus on the characters, emphasizing their distinct characteristics through thoughtful color choices and detailed texturing.

As many artworks of mine, I also reimagined the Powerpuff Girls with a unique twist, drawing inspiration from three YouTubers. The style reflects a blend of modern digital art with a darker, more mature aesthetic. Each character is meticulously detailed, showcasing distinct personalities and visual elements. This piece highlights my ability to merge pop culture references with contemporary artistic influences, resulting in a fresh, captivating interpretation of the iconic trio.

Drawing characters on paper before moving to digital painting can be a valuable part of the creative workflow. This analog approach allows me for unique experimentation with textures, structures, and various papers and pens. It offers a different and enriching way to explore and develop character designs.
NARUTO FAN ART
In this group project, I contributed significantly by creating concept art for two characters: myself and the main, male character, ensuring their outfits were appropriately referenced from the Naruto universe. After completing the initial designs, another team member took over to draw the outlines for all characters. Once the outlines were done, each group member shaded and colored their own character, while I took on the additional task of shading and coloring the male character. Our group, named “Shavacadoh,” decided to design a movie poster in the Naruto font, titling it “Shavacadoh the Movie” to make it look like a real movie within the Naruto universe. Working together, we combined our individual efforts to create a cohesive and visually appealing final product.

BLUE
In my university group project, we created a film titled “Blue”. The film delves into the surreal odyssey of Blue, as he embarks on a journey through diverse dreamscapes. My pivotal contribution to this endeavor involved crafting the concept art for Blue, ensuring his design resonated with the project’s moody ambiance. Experimenting extensively with various brush textures, I meticulously rendered Blue in shades of blue, capturing his enigmatic persona. Additionally, I crafted the background characters to be devoid of facial expressions, lending them an anonymous and ethereal quality that complements the dreamlike narrative of the film.
